Every Friday morning at 6am, I make my way to BNI Catalyst, held at the Springlake Hotel in Springfield Lakes. Arriving by 6:30am gives me the opportunity to connect with fellow local business owners, build relationships, and deepen trust before our meeting officially begins at 7:00am.
Being part of BNI has given me more than just networking opportunities, it has allowed me to genuinely get to know the businesses and people behind them. Through these connections, I’ve been able to support fellow members by using their services and confidently referring them to others, knowing the quality and integrity they bring to their work.
Within the chapter, I also take on the role of Webmaster and capture key moments of our meetings. This includes photographing milestone achievements, celebrating member successes, and documenting our education sessions, where valuable knowledge is shared to help us grow both within BNI and in our individual business journeys.
Since joining just under a year ago, it has been an incredibly rewarding experience. Not only have I seen personal growth and development, but I’ve also had the opportunity to be part of and promote some amazing community and business events through CJL Photography. These include:

BNI Southwest and Toowoomba Awards Night
These experiences have been fantastic opportunities to help businesses and organisations showcase and promote their events through professional photography.
I’m looking forward to renewing my membership this year and continuing to support more people by capturing, promoting, and sharing their stories and events.
