🌌 The Garlic Nebula (CTB 1) 🧄
Peeling back the layers of the cosmos with this shot of CTB 1! Located 10,000 light-years away in Cassiopeia, this incredibly faint supernova remnant is the expanding aftermath of a cosmic explosion that happened 10,000 years ago.
Capturing these delicate filaments of hydrogen and oxygen required hours of exposure, but revealing this hidden beauty is always worth it. 💥
