And, they’re off! Kiddos have had so mich fun the past week and a half at the beach. Their current favorite is the “beach with no waves” where they can propel their pleasure craft of choice, an inflatable raft a la Masha and the Bear.

Today we found and ! The kiddos were enthralled. I guess I still find it amazing what grabs their attention. The were hunting, poking, prodding, and plopping 🐌 into the water for hours this morning. 🐚 🐌 🇭🇷

We lucked out! In David’s many wanderings, he found a wonderful restaurant just across the bay (cove?) from our airbnb that had wonderful , homemade , and the little cal beer on draft. The kids were only marginally helpful with the ambience, but they loved walking back to the apartment post-dinner. We saw crabs, fish, and snails. It was a lovely evening overall. And the kiddos only screamed a little now and then.

There is nothing quite like springtime in Vienna. When the weather warms, the city comes alive. The restaurants’ tables spill out into the courtyards and streets. And the Viennese fill every seat and space. It is quite a thing to behold. Today was one of those days. The sun was shinning. The people were out. And I had a very yummy chickpea salad.
