Recently, I got the opportunity to create some beautiful pictures for 2 friends of mine, who conjoin to create very intimate and meaningful music together: Conor Ryan and Nina Baš
This shooting was themed around their album-symbol of the crane - which captures their airy sound and musical lines and shapes perfectly!
Not only had we some tiny handcrafted paper cranes, but we also incorporated the lines and literally airtime (thanks to the sportive artisticness of Nina Baš 🤯) to create these pictures.
Definitely one of my favorite shootings so far!

The Art of Flying - Passion Project

Ever since my big brother started gliding, I wanted to make a short video about the process and the feeling behind flying. Last week, the weather lined up perfectly and we met in Innsbruck, to get started real early to capture some of the best light and film some of his peers starting with a plane.
Later in the day, we finally started in the air ourselves - accelerating up to 120kmh in less than 3 seconds was such a exhilarating experience! Only then I realized the real challenge: steadily tracking another plane with my camera at 300mm while you‘re getting lifted through the air at up to 5m/s and 3g. After a while, I could

The end of a journey - thestudio.vienna is closing in 2,5 months 😭
With a heavy heart, we decided to move on to the next chapter of our journeys.
This space has been more than a workspace - it was a place to share knowledge, joys but also the difficult times and it’s true - shared sadness is half the sadness.

How I use AI to speed up my workflow:

Instead of listening to hours of interviews and taking notes, I now use something called “Text-based-editing”:
It is like writing a script, or puzzling together a story from existing sentences.
For me, this is just a tool to be faster, at the same quality output. AI is also not perfect or even trustworthy, so make sure you correct it and don’t put in personal data!
