This tiny Sun subminiature camera was made in Occupied Japan around the late 1940s and uses 17.5mm film to produce 14×14mm negatives. Built during the boom of Japanese “bean cameras,” it represents a fascinating chapter of post-war camera history.

Only one or two examples of this particular variant are currently known.

A camera that fits in the palm of your hand — and a rarity that most collectors will never encounter.

The Super-Farron — f/0.87, nine elements, built in 1965 to see in the dark. NASA used it to split meteor light and read what shooting stars are made of. Serial No. 365, one of the few still around
