The calm après la tempête.

Towards the end of 2023, storm Ciaran left 1.2 million houses in France without electricity for days. One of those houses was ours. Half the forest up our lane is gone, it's like a completely different scene to what it used to be. Roads were closed due to trees blocking them, some people even lost their roofs.

Is this the product of global warming? Will this become the new norm?

The feeling of fear from what we are doing to the planet resonates strongly, but it seems nothing will change, with all these wars and destructions only contributing more. When will we find peace as a race? Is it possible?

It's heartbreaking.
