off the commercials on this shooting in the teafields of when this little man suddenly turned up out of nowhere. The son of a leafpickers family that lived in improvised housings on site, right next to their workplace under very challenging circumstances, living a very hard life. (the full res version shows plenty of scars...)
He was cutely chasing us for a whole while with the strongest interest in us foreigners and photography.
The moment i captured this photo of him, he was hiding just around a corner, when i quickly turned around and hit the shutter.
His oddly troubelling, yet curious impression makes it one of the most memorable photos of all my travels so far.
We eventually ended up having a very good time browsing through some pictures together briefly and let him do some shots himself with a while he got some new pens & candy!
