This photo was taken in 2018 when I visited one of the schools in Badakhan province of Afghanistan 🇦🇫



This was part of ’s project which involved the implementation of tree plantation initiative, wherein trees were being planted in schools as well as other locations to promote greenery and sustainability. Different activities including awareness raising campaigns and trainings were conducted to serve as a platform to inform and educate the target audience about the key issues and solutions. I had a great time being part of the project and capturing beautiful photos. :)

The Cockatiel was first discovered in Australia in 1770. It did not become popular until the Australian gold rush in the nineteen hundreds. They are better at whistling than they are at talking!
They require quite a bit of sleep each day, about 14 hours!
