Hi I'm Lianne, a family lifestyle photographer originally from the UK, now based in the UAE. If you would like to find out more please get in touch.

I’ve been a photographer for nearly 10 years, after graduating from Southampton Solent University in the UK with a degree in photography I moved to Dubai where I studied for a degree in Psychology whist working as a nursery teacher and ABA therapist for children with Autism. In 2011 I established dinkyheart photography to pursue my two loves in life, children and photography. I feel that my experi

ence with children and my understanding of child psychology puts me in a unique positions where I can truly connect and empathise with any child that I work with, no matter how boisterous, playful, or shy your child maybe I’m confident that I can win them round and achieve great results. I love what I do and bring that passion and genuine love to every session ☺

I’m feeling totally inspired by the babies, new mummies and wonderful families that I’ve met in the last few days ❤️
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I never take for granted what a privilege it is to be chosen to document a babies first days in the world. To spend time with a family, new parents and newly promoted big brothers and sisters during those precious newborn days, and to create and capture memories that will be cherished forever ❤️

I’m always so in awe of the mummies I have in front of my camera and the pure love I capture through my lens is a testament to each and every one of them. Making our little ones feel loved and safe every day is the most important job in the world ❤️

Model Call //

In preparation for my new workshop ‘The Business Of Family Photography’ with and I’m looking for a family...

- with two or more children
- that would love some incredible images on the beach
- who I have not worked with before
- who hasn’t had a professional shoot in the last few months and doesn’t have a shoot booked in with another photographer
- who would be happy to be photographed and filmed on the beach
- and who loves my style of photography

The shoot will take place this Tuesday 9th March 4:30-6pm on the beach.

In return for being photographed you will receive all of the best images.

Our intention is to film some ‘behind the scene’ footage of me in action so that the workshop attendees get a wonderful insight into how I run a shoot on location.

The images and video footage will also be used to promote our family photography workshops with across their website and social media/online platforms, so you would be required to sign a model release form.

The Business Of Family Photography is finally here ✨

This much needed workshop, aimed at family photographers at the beginning stages of starting their business, has been a long time in the planning for us.

It’s THE workshop we wish we’d had at the beginning of our journey.

It will propel you in to a position of confidence in what you are marketing, shooting and charging.

You will gain a rare insight into exactly how we run our businesses, how we design and prepare for shoots, including behind the scenes footage of us shooting. We will take you through shooting locations, light conditions and engaging clients as well as pricing and how to work out what you should be charging. We will also cover the key mistakes and learning points that we’ve come across in our photography careers so far!

Blurry eyed and happy ❤️

I love this picture of my friends beautiful little girl on her 5th birthday, it was one of my absolute faves from the collection ❤️

But it’s out of focus I hear you say!!! Isn't that wrong??? Technically incorrect??? Just wrong!?!? I'd be inclined to say that depends on your vision, reason and purpose 🤷🏻‍♀️

I LOVE an out of focus shot! Yes the rest of the 100 or so images delivered were in focus and super sharp and beautiful in their own right. But this image is atmospheric and joyful and soft and inviting BECAUSE it’s out of focus.

So yes, if I'm your photographer, you'll often receive an out of focus shot, because I love them 😍

I hope you, as my clients love them too ❤️

Our first photowalk with GPP is tomorrow and Natalie and I are super excited about it.

So if you're a keen photographer (at any level and especially if you've attended one of our workshops before) come and join us as we explore the sand dunes and lakes of Al Qudra.

This a great opportunity to explore the desert of Dubai whilst making the most of prompts and guidance from Natalie and myself... we're total oversharers when it comes to photography 😂👌🏻
