Wandering through Al Fahidi feels like walking inside a memory. Every step echoes with the stories of merchants, pearl divers, poets, and rulers — especially Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, whose vision shaped the skyline that now pierces the clouds. His presence lingers here, immortalized not just in black and white but in the soul of the city itself.

Sometimes, the most powerful photographs are the ones that speak without saying a word — and this one, in its quiet corner, says everything.

'Silk Road of Arabia'
In the heart of the Empty Quarter, the 'Silk Road of Arabia' captures a striking scene where a solitary bulldozer rests amid vast sand dunes. Once a symbol of progress, the machine now stands still, its rigid form contrasting with the flowing dunes that surround it. This image tells a story of the delicate balance between development and nature’s resilience, as the dunes, shifting under the Arabian sun, begin to reclaim the bulldozer. It serves as a reminder of the impact human intervention can have on the environment and calls for sustainable practises that preserve fragile ecosystems.

"طريق الحرير العربي"
في قلب الربع الخالي، يلتقط "طريق الحرير العربي" مشهداً مذهلاً حيث تقف جرّافة وحيدة وسط كثبان رملية شاسعة. كانت هذه الآلة ذات يوم رمزاً للتقدّم، لكنها الآن تقف ساكنة، ويتناقض شكلها الصلب مع الكثبان الرملية المتدفقة التي تحيط بها. تحكي هذه الصورة قصة التوازن الدقيق بين التنمية ومرونة الطبيعة، حيث بدأت الكثبان الرملية، التي تتحرك تحت أشعة الشمس العربية، في استعادة الجرافة. وهي بمثابة تذكير بالتأثير الذي يمكن أن يُحدثه التدخل البشري على البيئة وتدعو إلى ممارسات مستدامة تحافظ على النظم البيئية الهشة.
