📸 • We love collaborating with fellow Swedish companies here in the UAE, so when we were asked to do a special staircase installation for the iconic we were really excited to create what came to be known as “The Swedish Steps” using our Kährs Ash Kalmar wood floor.

The blonde hues found in this 3-strip ash floor from the Nordic Naturals Collection range from amber honey to vanilla cream. To create this lively effect, lighter surface wood has been mixed with darker core wood.

Ps. Did you know that both IKEA and Kährs hail from Småland, a province in southern Sweden renowned for innovation, creativity and craftsmanship? 🇸🇪

📸 • This art collector's home in Maeen, The Lakes is filled with unique artwork, decor and charisma. Features our Kährs Oak Nouveau Black wood floor which creates an elegant base in the home.

The black pigments found in this single-strip oak floor from Kährs Classic Nouveau Collection beautifully accentuate the bitter chocolate undertones, resulting in a sophisticated and versatile expression. Each board is carefully brushed to bring out the character of the grain and highlight the natural texture of the wood. Four-sided bevelling at the edges ensures a classic full plank look and feel. The matt lacquer finish eliminates glare while protecting the wood from daily wear.

📸 • A few years ago, we installed our truly unique Kährs Unico wood floor installed in a special squared pattern at the Bazxar restaurant in DIFC.

The rich toffee stain on this smoked, single-strip floor from Kährs Da Capo Collection gives it its balanced yet rustic expression. Knots and cracks pepper the boards, resulting in a beautifully aged effect reminiscent of reclaimed timber. Decorative butterfly joints add to its crafted complexion. Each board is carefully brushed to bring out the character of the grain and highlight the natural texture of the wood.
