I remember the day I was released from the hospital with my first daughter. A photographer came into my room and told me to nurse my baby so that she will sleep and we can take her pictures before going home, then she left to take some other client's pictures. I got so excited and did as I was told! In the meantime, we were asked to bring her to the examination room for her final check up. I don't think I need to mention that she did not like that at all. By the time we got back to the room, she was in a really bad mood and the photographer was nowhere to be seen. When she eventually came, my daughter was already getting hungry again and after probably less than half an hour the photographer gave up. A few weeks later I got handed a bundle of pictures of my daughter crying, and showing off the pimples she got the day before. I got one acceptable image for free and ordered some birth announcements for a ridiculous amount of money. Back then I had neither the experience, nor the equipment to take her pictures myself... But I made up my mind then, that I want to give parents the chance to get beautiful pictures of their babies at a reasonable price. In the end for me it's about making people happy and giving them memories to hold on to and to share with their loved ones.
