Dodge and burn is an effective technique to add a different dimension to your pictures. This little village is called Hamnoy and it is probably one of the most anticipated pictures you would wanna take when in Lofoten. There are way too many perspectives to capture a scene and this was taken from under the bridge for a bit of a differentiation.

Over the past few days i have been blessed to capture for the first time the Northern Lights phenomenon however one must always remember that sunset colors provide magic on their own. This shot was during my first day in Iceland. The weather was good for 3 days and beyond terrible for another 3 days but that’s how it is in Iceland. Be patient and magic happens.
