Some old shots from my time at Mombo camp in Botswana that I converted to momochome which works beautifully with leopards. These are amazing creatures and very close to my heart. I had the privilege of spending alot of time with these mystic creatures at Mombo. I only wish I had a better lens to do them more justice. Good times!

These classics were parked along Emaar Boulevard at the Dubai Mall and were begging to be photographed. Most the shots are close in to avoid unwanted reflections, barrier ropes etc. My photoshop skills are not up to par yet, but i did do a fair bit on some of the images to remove reflections and other unsightly objects. There seems to be a timeless beauty to these machines and always find myself drawn to them more than modern exotics. These machines were made by the hands of a men and you can appreciate the attraction of them unlike the fast paced disposable world we live in now. Love them classics!

Tagged along with my brother in law to do a photo shoot with a pregnant friend of ours with the aim of creating an image of her floating in mid air. I was shooting as a secondary photographer so did not have the lights for the 'floating' shot. Then armed with the clone tool I removed the table and light to create the image. It's by no means perfect and look forward to seeing the finnished product with lights and multiple layers. Once we got our shot we did a pregnancy shoot in the constuction site. Not your regular setting for a pregnancy shoot but think the concrete pillars look pretty funky.

Some of these were posted a few weeks back, but I decided to revisit them to ad an extra twist. Normally I try and keep my shots as natural looking as possible, but doing that with the cars just did not gel with me too much. I mean these things are works of art or precision machines depending where you want to go with it and they each have a personality of their own which I wanted to try and focus on. At the same time I'm trying to create my own style of work that sets me aside from the thousands of other photographers out there. A tough task by any means! Anyhow, cars are meant to be cool to look at and that's what I tried to do here....so hope you like looking at these a bit more than the last post I did. Let me know what you think....

Spent the day covering a Triathlon event held at the Yas Marina circuit with my brother in-law for his race photo business and had to get off a few shots of this impressive track when the race was over.

Taking pictures from the top (well almost) of this man made marvel at sunrise is a great time to get a nice mix of shots. It was still dark when we got there so got a few night shots then a nice mix of light to play with as the sun peeped over the distant horizon. There is also no shortage of people visiting so people shots are plentifull.

Every year there is a 24 hr Touring car and GT race in my back yard so I thought I should get over there and take some pics before I miss it. These were taken in the last hour of the race and the cars were being held together with Duct tape and covered in black marks from all the bits of rubber on the track. So not the best time to get nice pictures of them, but all in the name of practice. Stupidly I forgot to take my SD cards with me and was stuck with a 1GB card, so was forced to pick my shots carefully. This is always good practice and it leaves you with less rubbish to sorth through when editing. Good lessons learnt:)

I just loved the slow pace of life in Italy and yes this guy is old and naturally slow, but he has his hand in his pocket and just strolling through the village which I thought depicted the way of life nicely

I think it's time I post some pics on travel photography having traveled to Cyprus and Italy recently. This was taken at a Sunday market in the square of a tiny village called Panzano in Tuscany. He was working at a fruit and veg stand which was absolutely heaving with activity. This guys was particularly animated with the customers and feel this image of him portrays his energy quite well. More to follow soon:)
