Leo Triplet
:

The Leo Triplet is a small group of galaxies about 35 million light-years away in the constellation Leo .
After 4 months of cloudy nights Findlay under the stars ⭐️.

Soul nebula :
This weekend I went to collect new data for Soul Nebula but weather was warm, moist & humid atmospheric conditions was less than ideal, raw data collected all night was almost useless to proceed . Disheartened but not yet given up I went back to my archives to find that I did the same target in 2022 Nov but never processed them fully today I reopened the project to finally complete it with New techniques My first Hubble Pallet colorised image and I am well satisfied with the results .

Facts : The Soul Nebula is about 100 light years across and has an estimated age of 1 million years. It contains several small open stars clusters. IC 1848 is embedded in the body of the nebula, while the clusters CR 34, 632 and 634 can be seen in the head. Small emission nebulae IC 1871, 670 and 669 are located just next to the Soul Nebula.

The Black Eye Galaxy designated Messier 64, , .

This galaxy season I am pushing my boundaries with my large a near perfect calm weather really helped my imaging session , I present to you the located at 17 million light-years away in the northern constellation of Coma Berenices .

The striking characteristic that stands out is the dark band of absorbing dust partially in front of its bright nucleus .

The diameter is estimated to be at 50K light year so it’s half the size of our own galaxy.

I used the following instruments :
Imaging Telescopes : 8inch Meade with .6 reducer @ 1400 mm FL
Imaging Cameras : 1600 MM GTI
Mounts : 🌈 135e
Filters : LRGB
Accessories : dew heaters and 180mm guide scope with asi290MM camera .
Acquisition Softwares : ASI air pro
Post processing Software :
Acquisition Dates: 25 th & 26 th night .
Location : Al qudra desert

Frames: LRGB , equally split .
Integration: 5 hrs 30 min
Avg. Moon age: Waxing Crescent moon - 2 days old .
Avg. Moon phase: 17 %

Visual magnitude: 8.52
Size 16.51 kiloparsecs (53,800 light-years , diameter )

Resolution: 3K x4K = 12 MP

Whale 🐳 Galaxy

A barred spiral galaxy in the constellation Canes Venatici. This galaxy's slightly distorted wedge shape gives it the appearance of a herring or a whale, hence its nickname.

Technical details & acquisition :~ 3 hrs of imaging from Al Faqqa on 26 Feb 2023 .

Roset nebula :

The Rosette Nebula is an H II region located near one end of a giant molecular cloud in the Monoceros region of the Milky Way Galaxy. The open cluster NGC 2244 is closely associated with the nebulosity, the stars of the cluster having been formed from the nebula's matter .

C/2022 E3 (ZTF) comet from the Oort Cloud last visited us around 50K years ago in coming weeks it will get brighter and hope to see it with naked eyes from rural skys.
