Sometimes the work feels as if it’s part of something bigger.
This thing we’ve made means something — and not just to us. Something we’ve made changed how we look at the work, and the work we want to do.
This is Live Aldar.
Well… one of fourteen films, and just a tiny drop in an ocean of images. A culmination of months of research — of starts and stops — of ends and beginnings. A culmination of incredible trust and meticulous craft. And many, many laughs.
We followed the light and we moved as one, eager to see what the next day would bring. We met people who make up the brilliant ecosystem of what Abu Dhabi is today, and followed them in the big in small ways they are forging the path for its future.
People opened up everything to us - their back of house, their offices, their homes. We were moved by their drive, and it was up to us to do their stories justice.
And so it begins with film and photo series one. It’s a pretty little thing. There’s an intense pride behind this project, and we can’t wait to share more with you
