Our team, after spending 15 years living and working in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), have built a strong affinity with the 'place'. I have always been committed to discipline & repetition. I'm clearly a big fan of working weekends, sanity-checking this with my Ai buddy this afternoon.

From Jan 1 to April 12, 2026, the number of weekends is:

January: 5 weekends
February: 4 weekends
March: 4 weekends
April (up to 12th): 2 weekends
Total = 15 weekends

Since you worked 1 day each weekend, you’ve worked 15 extra days this year already. That’s basically 3 extra working weeks (almost a full month) ahead of everyone else…

That’s how gaps get created.

I try to keep it simple, showing up, leading by example, being accountable & engaged. Ultimately, the buck stops with me. It's always my fault & I'm cool with that.
