It’s been a while since you’ve seen my face around here so let me introduce myself again.

I’m Connor, I take photos, I have a dog called bakery and last week I spent a few days in and had an absolute ball.

I may look like a know my way around a sand board but would tell you otherwise.

The night we spent in the desert was definitely my fave. There’s something about watching the sunset over the empty sand dunes as the warm desert air blows against your face.

There’s nothing quite like seeing a place for the first time. Abu Dhabi, it was an absolute pleasure.

It’s been a while since I’ve ventured out to this part of the city but every time I come here I realise how great it is, just sitting watching the world go by. I didn’t bring my camera but I did my bring my Reno4 5G. Shooting a few frames in Pro Mode left me with no regrets either, it handles low light so effortlessly!

Shooting on the fly is a skill I’ve been trying to finesse over the past couple of weeks. Leaving the house with minimal gear has always made me a little nervous, I like to be prepared. Having shot with the Reno 4 5G over the past couple of weeks has really reinforced that quantity of gear is measurable to nothing, in some cases it can actually obstruct creativity. So knowing a can leave the house with just my phone, keys and wallet and come back with shots like this really puts a smile on my face.

Ever spent an entire night in the rain chasing trams around just to realise they’re a lot faster than you? I learnt this the hard way recently...but I also learnt that I can leave the house without a big clunky camera and come home with some photos I’d be happy to show my grandma one day. I’ve been testing out the Reno4 5G for the past few weeks, shooting whatever I can (mainly at night) and it’s doing a surprisingly great job at keeping up with dark scenes, much better than I’m doing trying to keep up with trams...

We are back baby! To each and every Victorian, you should be proud of what we were able to achieve. Against all the odds we did it! Once that 25km limit is gone I’m outta here! For now, we get on the beers 🍻

The wild, jagged coastlines of Victoria’s Southwest. I hope the sunrises and sunsets have been nothing short of legendary in my absence. When I took this photo I didn’t realise that I wouldn’t be coming back here for a long time, but that’s what makes photos like this just a little bit more sentimental, to me anyway. Fingers crossed there’s a day on the calendar I can soon return.

A few scenes from the mountainous valleys of Tokushima, 2018.

Also, let’s just take a moment to appreciate Japanese statues. The last frame is a statue of, I’m not even kidding here, Peeing boy!

It was built to signify the dangerous “pee offs” young boys would have to prove their courage. How great is Japan! 😂 @ Iya Valley

This is what my quarantine dreams looked like. Bold and vivid ideas splashed against the canvas of life; too weird to live but too rare to die.
