The curtain falls on Four Lions FCโ€™s PSERSL 2026/27 survival battle following a 2โ€“1 defeat to Great Zimbabwe University FC...

The result confirms Four Lions FC as the first team to be relegated this season , bringing a difficult campaign to a painful conclusion.

Even more striking , Four Lions FC remain the only team in the campaign yet to taste victory , a statistic that tells the story of their challenging season.

For Great Zimbabwe University FC head coach Reason Mugore , aka Mugo , the result adds another chapter to a remarkable football storyline, having coached Four Lions between 2015 and 2018.

โšฝ One chapter closes, while another continues.

Football has a way of writing unexpected stories!

Reason Mugore , popularly known as Mugo , coached Four Lions FC between 2015 and 2018. Today , he finds himself on the opposite side of the touchline , leading Great Zimbabwe University FC against the very club he once coached.

The stakes could hardly be higher...If Mugoreโ€™s GZU side wins today , Four Lions FC will be relegated from the PSERSL , according to the current survival scenario.

From leading Four Lions to potentially delivering the decisive blow to their survival, this is a storyline that makes today's Matchday 35 clash even more dramatic. ๐ŸŽฌโšฝ
