*A Non-Negotiable Truth No One Tells the Girls of Our Generation:*
I have seen quite a number of my fellow young ladies calling men all sorts of names. Yes, we men may laugh about it and internalize things with deeper humor, but there is a non-negotiable truth we need to understand.
You cannot constantly call a man “evil” or refer to men as “dogs” and expect those words to have no impact. In a society where the girl child is often protected and uplifted, we sometimes forget that the boy child also carries wounds, expectations, and pain that may never be spoken about.
The mistake of one man does not make all men guilty. 👎😪
To my sisters in relationships: be mindful of what you post on your status and social media about men, especially your partner. He may not confront you about it directly, but he sees it. Someone who looks up to you also sees it. Some will speak up, while others will simply walk away.
No negotiation.
Just silence, distance, reduced communication, and eventually, reduced time.
Watch what you post. Don't allow the influence of your friends to cost you more than you can afford to lose.
And to my fellow men, let us also introspect and reflect on these conversations. Let us lead by example, because leadership is not about domination—it is about guidance, understanding, protection, and love for those we care about.
Above all, freedom exposes who you truly are to those closest to you.
