NKISU FILMS AND CHONGWE ACTORS ARTS NETWORK (CAN) CLARIFY POSITION ON PERSONAL SOCIAL MEDIA STATEMENTS.
Chongwe, Zambia — Nkisu Films and the Chongwe Actors Arts Network (CAN) wish to formally distance themselves from recent political views expressed on social media by Ms. Faith Sholoma known as “Espinahxlavia Julias”.
The opinions and statements shared by Ms. Sholoma are entirely her own and do not reflect the values, principles, or official position of Nkisu Films or CAN. Furthermore, these views should not be interpreted as representing the Nkisu Film Festival – Chongwe Film Premiere Tour, its organizers, partners, or affiliated stakeholders.
Ms. Sholoma’s involvement with Nkisu Films and CAN has been strictly in her capacity as a cast member in one of our short film projects. She is one among many young people from Chongwe District whom we are committed to empowering through creative arts initiatives. Our programs are designed to promote talent development, storytelling, and positive community engagement within the arts sector.
As organizations, Nkisu Films and CAN we remain non-partisan and focused on fostering unity, creativity, and opportunity for all young artists, regardless of personal beliefs or affiliations within Chongwe.
We reaffirm our commitment to maintaining a professional and inclusive platform that supports artistic expression while remaining independent of individual political opinions expressed outside our organizational scope.
