Deon Kitching Photography I am fascinated by cameras and images. I have a life-long passion for photography. This is a way to share some of my work. I took my first slide in 1974.

I intend to sell a few selected prints. To keep it unique, I only sell 10 x copies of each print. This is a public space where I sell prints of my slides and photos which I captured for over 40 years. I see photography as a form of art and therefore I do not want to stock the place with too many items and options.

Alhoewel Askham in die Noord-Kaap ver van Skandinavië af is, is dit nie ongewoon dat plaasname in Suid-Afrika 'n Europese oorsprong het nie. Dit kom as gevolg van die land se kolonialisme en migrasiegeskiedenis.

Our tour brought us to the incredible Knysna Elephant Sanctuary, and what an experience it was! 🥰 Here, we got to walk among these majestic creatures, learning about their lives and the sanctuary’s efforts to protect and care for them.

These gentle giants have such unique personalities, and spending time with them was both humbling and inspiring. From feeding them to just being close, every moment was filled with awe and admiration. 🌟

If you’re ever in Knysna, make sure to visit this sanctuary. It’s not just about seeing elephants up close – it’s about understanding their world and supporting a place that’s dedicated to their well-being. 🌍💚
