I Don't Know How To Tell You This...

I don't know how to tell you this
but I need to be brutally honest.

You are not who you think you are.
You are not what you have been told.
You are not what you have come to
believe about yourself.

Listen.

You are vast.
And holy.
And orchestrated.
You are waterfalls.
And green grass.
And sunflowers bursting with seeds.

You are chosen.
Do you even know what it means
to be chosen?
Tenderly sought after.
Longed for.
Woven out of the purest form
of love ever to have existed.

You are delighted in.
An image bearer.
A reflection of your Creator.

He spoke breath into your lungs
because YOU matter.
Because YOU have purpose.
And because YOU were made
for this precise time in history.

NOBODY else can take your place.
So live like it.
Be so extravagant in love
that they stop to wonder
where on earth it all came from.

Then tell them.
