Some of the most beautiful scenery I’ve ever filmed.

This was filmed somewhere in South Africa. What surprised me most was how much the landscape changes with the light — especially around golden hour, when the mountains in the distance start turning different shades of blue and purple.

This area can look pretty harsh and dry during the day, but at the right time of day it can be absolutely incredible.

One of those shots that makes you stop and appreciate just how beautiful South Africa is.

Getting up before everyone else, coffee getting cold in your hand, watching the first bit of light creep up from behind the mountains. Your phone is off, there are no notifications, nothing feels rushed, nothing demanding of you to notice it. I think I can film a sunrise like this every day of my life and never get tired of it.
