Little nursery moments, just minutes after birth 🤍

Some of the moms I photograph are under general anaesthesia, sometimes without a birth partner present by circumstance or choice. No one there to take photos in theatre or afterwards.

That’s why I love what I do. I get to preserve all the little details they would have otherwise missed.

Different midwives on duty, different paediatricians, different doctors, different stories unfolding in real time. Things move fast and I don’t always get every little detail.

But when I do, those are often the images parents treasure the most 🤍
