Can't believe I was able to find the time to do a bit of painting again😆, loads of changes the last couple of months between the move to Cape Town and running full time now. Haven't had much time with the brushes. It's been such a time of growth and blessing in my life❤️

Thankfulness is what I see when I look at this picture.

Thankful for discovering my true passion

Thankful for the deaf ear I turned to those not believing in my calling

Thankful for every job I took helping me realize it's not for me

Thankful for every stumbling block that taught me how to be better

Thankful for each day I get to live out my purpose

Thankful my Lord and Savior gave me a talent that I can serve those around me

Nothing beats the peace of getting to live out your passion

And for the creatives! You're not just someone that can doodle as a hobby, there's a purpose for your talent and you have to figure out why

We were given the most precious gift of life and it would be shameful wasting it half assing some 9-5 where you don't even enjoy the coffee

I'm calling it "muted"

Color brings me undescribable joy and excitement so as a bit of a challenge I wanted to do something with muted tones but of course with a pop of color just to keep me comfortable 😂

Anyway I hope you guys can appreciate it

First painting of 2022, I'm beyond excited for what this year will bring!

Memorial portrait of a friend that passed a while back, she was one of the most colorful people I've ever met. Full of joy, laughs and hart❤️

Life is the biggest gift that we have received and as I was painting this portrait I realized it would be sin not living it to the fullest of capacity!

"Sheepless boy"

I usually finish a painting in a day or maybe two working at it constantly but I tried working at this one for 2 weeks on and off, came to the conclusion that it doesn't always take a long time to finish a good work of art. I'll be sticking to my one day paintings.

That being said I love how this boy turned out❤️
