One of the biggest reasons I include a complimentary engagement shoot with my wedding packages is because it gives us the chance to slow down, connect and get comfortable together before the wedding day arrives.

Durban & KZN Brides 🤍

One of the most overlooked parts of wedding planning is your photography timeline, yet it has the biggest impact on how your day actually feels.

Here’s my approach:

💍 Family photos: Allow at least 30 minutes and prepare your list in advance so no one is forgotten.
💍 Creative couple shoot: Give yourself 1 hour for this magical time, usually right after the ceremony during golden hour when the lighting is at its best.
💍 Pre-scout locations: Know exactly where you’re going - no guessing, no stress.
💍 Keep guests happy: While you’re in photos, have a pre-reception or cocktail hour so guests are entertained
💍 Reception flow: Cake cutting, first dance, speeches - plan to fit within your venue’s timing
💍 Getting ready coverage: Allow extra time for shoes, jewellery, heirlooms, and special family moments

When your timeline flows, your day feels calm, and your photos feel natural and romantic. My goal is to capture real emotion, quietly and beautifully, without rushing a moment.
