Victory is a silence...
A silence in which you finally step back
and see what you could not see
when love had covered your eyes—
when you were fighting for a place
in hearts that were meant to hold you.
And while you fought,
the most beautiful years of joy
slipped through your fingers like sand.
“For there is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed.” – Luke 12:2
Anger becomes your breath,
disappointment your night-song,
sorrow your shadow,
and powerlessness your only language.
Yet even there, in the cracked places,
God whispers:
“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted.” – Psalm 34:18
And then… forgiveness begins to glow,
a tiny light in a long night.
Forgiveness for him who allowed it,
for the one driven by their own wounds,
for the diamonds caught in a game of power
that was never meant for them.
And finally—
forgiveness for yourself,
because love made you fight,
and love made you lose.
“Forgive one another, just as God forgave you.” – Ephesians 4:32
And God reminds you:
These diamonds were never only yours.
They were gifts from His throne room,
placed beneath your heart
for nine sacred months.
“Children are a heritage from the Lord.” – Psalm 127:3
Then gratitude breaks open
like a sunrise after a long night.
Gratitude for a partner
who stood beside you like a steadfast oak,
who heard you even when you had no words,
who understood without explanation.
“If one falls, the other lifts him up.” – Ecclesiastes 4:10
And for a diamond
who grew quietly in the storm,
and now stands as a man of truth,
of values,
of light.
“Train up a child in the way he should go…” – Proverbs 22:6
This book,
this song of wounds and truth,
is for every mother, every father
who sees the signs,
who feels something shifting in the shadows,
who senses how love is slowly being stolen from them.
May these pages give you three gifts:
a warning,
an understanding,
and a path back to the feet of Jesus,
where every answer begins and ends.
“Come to Me… and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 11:28
“I will instruct you and teach you the way you should go.” – Psalm 32:8
For in the end, there is only One
who can carry you through this battle—
the One who fights for you
while you simply stand still.
“The Lord will fight for you; you need only be still.” – Exodus 14:14
