Tselem is a hebrew word meaning "In His image" or Image bearer.... as I devoted my life to Christ, I know everybody has a story to tell, A testimony to give. Life happens and often we don't see ourself as He does.... and His heart is to restore the image that you have of yourself in Him. 2 Cor 3:18 And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate[a] the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

Yes, she has Down syndrome… but let me say this clearly: Down syndrome does NOT define who she is. It is only one small part of a much bigger, more beautiful story.

Delienke, you are wonderfully made, just as God intended.
“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” – Psalm 139:13-14 🤍

Every image tells a story of who you are — it was about celebrating you. Your uniqueness. Your beauty. Your worth.

2 jaar terug was jy braaf genoeg om jou seer met so baie te deel.. om mense bewus te gemaak het van bloedkanker/leukemie.... Oranje verteenwoordig dit, maar ook verteenwoordig dit God se Woord wat die simbool van vuur is; vurigheid, bevryding, krag; energie, passievolle prys, die Heilige Gees en Sy teenwoordigheid. Wanneer ek terug kyk na dit wat was en die voorreg wat ek gehad het in wie jy nou is sien ek soveel groei.... geloof... sterkte... vryheid....deursettings vermoe... en ek eer jou vir dit, opgee was nooit 'n opsie nie en dis nogsteeds nie... jy dra 'n ongelooflike getuienis van liefde en sterkte.... "Ek is tot alles in staat deur Christus wat my die krag gee" en dit kon ek sien sonder enige twyfel.

There is a quiet strength that doesn’t need to announce itself… it simply shines. ✨

Today I honour a woman whose grace, courage, and beauty go far beyond what the eye can see. You carry yourself with such dignity, even when life asks more of you than seems fair. And still—you choose kindness, you choose faith, you choose to keep moving forward.

The words of Psalm 23 come to mind when I think of you:
“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
He leads me beside still waters,
He restores my soul.”

May you always remember that you are led, you are restored, and you are never alone. Even in the valleys, there is purpose. Even in the quiet seasons, there is growth.

You are strong. You are deeply loved. And you are walking into a season of peace, favour, and new beginnings. 🌿
