Do you know what feels like one of the most humbling moments for me?
When another photographer tells you:
“Take the photos on the SD card and go edit your own photos for your own marketing.”
…after being a second photographer at a wedding for another company on the 18th of April, 2026.

It’s honestly such a pleasure shooting alongside you - even when we overshoot and you end up with way too many photos to edit and send to clients! Our creativity flows so naturally together.I mean… who lets the grooms play tennis on the tennis courts before getting married? Super fun times! 🎾

I asked them a few questions, because an engagement season truly carries its own heart and soul;

▪️When are they getting married & why that date?
"15 October 2026 - We really wanted to get married in spring. It reminds us of joy and carries such a light atmosphere. It’s a month of new growth, which feels fitting for the season we are stepping into now as an engaged couple, and soon as husband and wife.”

▪️What advice would they give to newly engaged couples?
“Enjoy every single moment. It’s such a special time in your life and you learn so much - not only about yourself, but in your faith, your relationships, and about each other. Remember what the ultimate goal is at the end of all the planning: that you become one before God and there is nothing more special than that.”

▪️How has the engagement season been for them so far?
"It is a special time filled with many emotions. You realize the preciousness not only of each other, but also of your loved ones. In this season, we’ve come to understand what it truly means to trust in the Lord before anything else, and that has made all our planning so much simpler. Everything started falling into place the moment we surrendered it to Him." 💍
