R A N F T M A T E R N I T Y🌸

If ever I’ve done a photoshoot that felt like it belonged in the pages of a fantasy storybook, it’s this one. 🍂✨ Every detail seemed perfectly placed, as though the Lord Himself had carefully arranged the scene for this beautiful family.

After photographing lovely Carien, Corrie and little Louis not too long ago, it was such a joy to have them back in front of my lens again, this time with a precious little sister on the way.

I could hardly believe how much Louis had grown! Full of adventure and curiosity, he wasn’t about to let the cold weather stop him from splashing and exploring the river.

As I stood there capturing these moments, I was reminded again how quickly life moves. The little things that feel so ordinary today, muddy boots, autumn leaves, tiny hands and growing families, are often the very things we miss most one day.

What a beautiful gift it is to preserve these memories while they’re still here. 🤍

A N N I K A G R A D E P L E G T I G H E I D 🎓

Tussen die gejaag van die dag en my soektog na parkering (wat amper ’n avontuur op sy eie was 😅), het ek nie geweet wat om te verwag nie.

Maar toe ontmoet ek vir Annika.

Sy het letterlik gestraal van opgewondenheid en trots. En die liefde en ondersteuning wat haar familie vir haar gehad het, was ongelooflik mooi om te sien.

Wat dit nog meer spesiaal gemaak het, was dat haar mamma baie jare gelede ook hier gestudeer het. Daar was iets besonders daaraan om daardie klein stukkie familiegeskiedenis saam met hulle te vier.

Baie geluk, Annika. Jou vreugde was aansteeklik, en dit was ’n voorreg om hierdie hoofstuk saam met jou vas te vang. 🍂✨

Rather late than never 🌸

My photoshoots at this precious little preschool are honestly always such a highlight for me. Tiny humans looking up at their mommies with the biggest smiles, little hands like jewels around moms neck, and pure excitement over the smallest things 🥹

There was a lot of running around, a lot of giggling, a few very serious poses, and so many sweet little moments in between. Childhood really is magic when you slow down enough to watch it.

Thank you to TjokkaNolsies for having me again. Photographing these memories is something really special for me🤍

This little man found his way in front of my camera for the second time, and it was absolute shenanigans from start to finish 😻

Up and down, here and there…thankfully my camera’s focus is semi-decent, otherwise we would’ve ended up with nothing but little stripy blurs 🫠

Some weddings are memorable… and then there’s the Smit Wedding. Becks looked stunning, the love in the air was infectious, and the venue? Honestly, I half-expected Abba to start singing in the background. Working with these two was an absolute treat!

It was so special meeting Jillian and Blaine last week. They arrived at Solid Ground positively beaming with expectancy for the photoshoot to welcome their little one. It’s always such a joy meeting first time parents and talking to them about all the new joys that will be coming their way soon.

Props were packed, they were ready and the cloudy weather created the most perfect atmosphere.

Thank you for trusting me with the photoshoot dear Jillian and Blaine. I just know the Lord has got a special blessing in store for this little one!…one that is already unfolding now through your love for her.

Just look at little Michael and Olivia… honestly, how are they THIS cute?! 😍

Meeting Caelan and Michael was such a joy, and their precious little duo was truly the cherry on top. From the moment we started wandering through the fields, they were all smiles and so full of personality!

They say when God blesses with twins, He pours out a double portion of His goodness… and you can truly see it here. 🤍 Two little lives, twice the joy, and such a beautiful reminder of how abundantly He gives.

What a blessing it was to capture these moments🫶🏻
