Ah, Marike and Stephan - where do I start with you two! There are some people you feel like you know, long before you actually meet them. 🫶🏻 Their wedding took me to the beautiful forests of Magoebaskloof - a place you truly have to experience to appreciate. Having just finished the rainy season, everything was lush and just absolutely mystical and magical! They started off their morning with a little wedding jog and coffee with their loved ones which set the tone for an honest, intentional and authentic day. They opened the dancefloor with a dirty dancing replica (overhead lift, and all!) and absolutely brrrrokkeee it down on fb d-floor, thereafter. 🪩 Thank you guys for picking me and for trusting me with this!

Resurfacing briefly from the editing cave to share a wedding that I didn’t ever get around to posting. It’s been quietly sitting in the archives, waiting for its moment.  
 
Lauren and Chris’ wedding had the feeling of a long-awaited family gathering - just real, fluff-free, authentic, joyous, grounded and special.  
 
I shot this feeling super ill after a looong few weeks of coughing and chest infections, and I then subsequently found out on the Monday after the wedding that I actually had pneumonia. 😂 So - it’s BEEN a season and I’m looking back on it with quite a lot of accomplishment and wtfs. But forever in deep gratitude for the wonderful, incredible humans and couples who trust me to do this for them!  
 
Bring on off-season! 😂🫠 (and admin and editing and more editing).
