A few Ruby-throated Hummingbird visitors to our feeder. These little birds (weighing in at a mighty 3 grams) can beat their wings 80x per second(!) and fly backwards for good measure! Awesome Nature…(please open in full to view)

This is a sequence of our (somewhat resident) Red-tailed Hawk being given the runaround by his nemesis, the American Mockingbird. The Hawk inevitably gives up and leaves. Just shows that size doesn’t matter!
