Gabar Goshawk (Juvenile) stretching after some rain. Not the best background but they are also not the easiest to find in the open. A whistling call gives away its presence.

Pearl-spotted Owlet (Witkoluil) - I'm watching you - This small Owlet weighing less than 100g is often heard calling in the late afternoon in summer and the call usually attracts numerous other bird species.

I found a group of these lovely little guys while walking in the Free State on a farm looking for birds. With only a fence and grassland it created the perfect background.
