In my early years as a photographer, landscapes never spoke to me. I found my inspiration in portraits and commercial workpeople, stories, and controlled light.

But moments like this changed everything. Standing before rugged peaks, watching the light break through the clouds, I realized landscapes don’t need direction they demand patience.
