Sawasdee ka! 📸 We’re teaming up with Bangkok Creatives for our July Photowalk, you don't wanna miss this international film collaboration between Johannesburg and Bangkok!

Join us on 11 July for a photo walk in Norwood, capturing the soul of the city on Lucky C200 35mm film. Once you shoot your roll, we’ll ship it to Bangkok Creatives in Bangkok where another photographer will double-expose it. After development and high-res scans, every participant will receive a printed A5 zine of these crops continental double exposures. This is more than a photo walk, it's a global creative exchange!

🎨📸 Sunday Colours: A Photowalk with a Twist

This month, we’re slowing down and seeing Kalk Bay a little differently.

Join us for a sunrise photowalk where every participant will be assigned one colour to focus on throughout the morning. Your challenge? Explore the harbour, streets, textures, people, boats, and hidden details of Kalk Bay through the lens of a single colour.

It’s a creative exercise designed to help you see more, shoot more intentionally, and discover images you might otherwise walk right past.

Zinesters united. We hosted a zine making workshop with yesterday, it was a great success!

Join us for an interactive, hands-on zine-making workshop in the heart of Maboneng’s vibrant creative district at Ramushu Art Gallery.

This session is all about exploring what you choose to see. In a world full of noise and constant input, we don’t take in everything, we’re drawn to certain shapes, colours, textures, and moments. Through collage and photography, you’ll create your own zine pages based on what naturally stands out to you.

Led by Thato (Film My Soul) and Minenkulu (Alphabet Zoo), this workshop blends photography, print, and storytelling into a collaborative zine-making experience.

All participants will contribute a few zine pages and after the workshop, we’ll compile everything into a final A5 zine that will be printed and couriered to each attendee.

We’re back with another one! We’re turning the city into a colour hunting photo walk. Each person will be assigned a colour for the day, and your mission is simple: shoot only your colour.

We’ll be moving around Jozi using the Rea Vaya Bus, hopping between spots and capturing different scenes along the way.
