A random Wednesday in Mpumalanga, working on my personal brand with some friends. 😂🔥

One thing I’m learning is that building a personal brand is about so much more than just posting content.

We spent time working on our messaging, learning how to tell better stories, understanding how to sell through Instagram Stories, and how to turn the things we already know into content that actually connects with people.

And I think that’s something a lot of people overlook.

You don’t have to quit your 9-to-5, become an influencer or change your whole life to start building a personal brand.

You can start with the knowledge you already have, the experiences you’ve lived and the things people already come to you for advice about.

Your personal brand isn’t something you have to create from scratch. It’s something you can start building from who you already are.

Anyway, here’s what our Wednesday looked like. 😂❤️

This is where we’ve been staying all week 🏡
We’re in Mpumalanga for our first business incubator. A few entrepreneurs, my team, and one of the creators from my mentorship. We’re running strategy sessions, brainstorming, working on our mindset, team building and doing a bunch of activities, all while building real businesses.
Here’s the part I’m most excited about.
Every two months, I’ll pick one person from my mentorship to come on the trip with us. You’ll sit in on our real strategy sessions, learn how we think, and be part of the team for the week. This one was Mpumalanga. The next one will be bigger and better. We’re still deciding where 👀
So what’s the mentorship?
It’s called the Full-Time Creator Accelerator. For 8 weeks, you meet with me and my team at Rampedi Media in live group sessions. We help you work out how your content can make you money, what to sell, what to charge, and how to get brands to take you seriously. You also get my full video course, so you can keep learning at your own pace.
It’s for creators who are tired of posting and getting nothing back, and want someone to show them the way.

I know this is just a vlog, but I need to use whatever attention this post gets to say something that matters.

Women in our country are scared.

Our sisters, our friends, our partners, our mothers. Women are having to think about whether they’re safe going out, getting home, being alone, trusting someone. Families are worried about whether the women they love are going to make it home safely.

And as men, we cannot keep watching this happen and acting like it has nothing to do with us.

It starts with us.

Having the uncomfortable conversations. Calling out our friends. Correcting our brothers. Refusing to stay quiet when another man says or does something that contributes to a culture that makes women feel unsafe.

And our police and institutions need to do their part too. Women who ask for help deserve to be heard, protected and taken seriously.

But beyond what happens today, we need to think about the generation of men coming after us.

We have to teach younger men differently. We have to show them a different example. We have to change the conversations happening between men so that the same cycle isn’t passed down generation after generation.

Awareness posts don’t always reach everyone, so I’m going to use the descriptions of the things I post to keep talking about this.
