I found a hidden glamping getaway just 90 minutes from Johannesburg 🇿🇦

This is Milorho, situated in Magaliesburg.

If you’re looking for the perfect weekend getaway, then this is it! Starting at R2440 per night, this stay sleeps 2 people, has a fully equipped kitchen, and has amenities like a netted hammock, a wood-fired hot tub and a lovely braai area. You can also cosy up next to the indoor fireplace this Winter.

You can also enjoy activities like hiking and wine tasting and if you happen to forget your food, you can always order a braai or breakfast basket at reception.

I don’t know about you, but to me, this is an ideal stay for the coming winter. 😍

I get why people come back here.

is one of those places that makes you feel relaxed straight away. Mountains right in front of you, peace and quiet, and no pressure to do anything.

One of my favourite parts of this stay was how much time we spent outside.. early morning strolls, afternoons by the pool, and sunset picnics.

We stayed in the executive suite (R2500 pppn including breakfast) and loved it. The balcony alone had incredible views of the Drakensberg.

If you’ve been needing a proper break, this is a good one.

It’s the month of love and if you’re looking for a fun date idea with your partner, i got you .. 🤩

and I headed over to and got ourselves some items to enjoy a lekker day of fishing and an afternoon picnic.

Look for a nice park, dam, field or hill located near you, grab your partner, some snackies and drop by Outdoor Warehouse to pick up a picnic blanket and backpack , an umbrella, a small table, and a chair or 2 if you’d like and enjoy a sunset with your loved one. ♥️
