It’s been a while, but I’m trying to post a bit more regularly again now.
Here’s some tests with .side from awhile back on the 23mm f1.4 and 10-18 f2.8 to look at how the two compared for portraits on the X-H2.
10-18 is an unconventional focal length for portraits but something about ultra-wide low angles has always intrigued me, especially when shot with a more moody scene. I lit this with Pavo’s and a bounce as it was actually pretty terrible lighting outside. The wider apertures in the Sigma lenses helped a ton in getting the shots to still feel light with limited fill.
