🍦 Gelato content coming your way soon!

If there’s one thing I can honestly say, it’s that running an ice cream business is NOT for the weak. Hospitality in general has its challenges, but gelato? That’s a whole different story! 😂

I’ve been in and out of the hospitality industry for the past 7 years, and let’s just say I’ve learnt a thing or two along the way. From working with people and communication to management, problem-solving and everything in between… why does this suddenly sound like I’m updating my CV? 😂

ANYWAY, the actual point of this post is that I’m SO excited for this little pop-up adventure and everything that comes with it! There’s so much happening behind the scenes, and I honestly can’t wait to share more of the journey with you.

I can’t keep a secret any longer… 🍦❤️ SCOOPS IS BACK!

And better than ever! After so many amazing customers have supported and loved Scoops since 2018, and after closing for a year, I’ve decided to revive the business for this December!

It hasn’t been an easy decision. I’ve been exploring so many different options, especially with the economic changes we’re experiencing, but I’ve finally decided to take the leap.

✨ Scoops will be open again this December & January! ✨

One more December of Scoops, and I couldn’t be more excited to take on this challenge. I’m so excited to bring back something so many of you have loved over the years.

Let’s talk about why dark spots take so long to fade

Your skin fully renews itself every ~28 days. Here’s what actually happens during that cycle:

Without TXA: melanocytes keep overproducing pigment → new dark cells keep joining the turnover cycle → your spot stays dark (or even deepens) even as old cells shed

With TXA: pigment overproduction slows down → fewer new dark cells enter the cycle → as the existing pigmented cells shed naturally over the 28 days, they’re not being “topped up” → the spot visibly fades

Here’s the part most people get wrong: TXA doesn’t erase pigment directly. It works by getting out of the way of your skin’s own natural turnover — supporting the process your skin is already doing, instead of overriding it. 🌾

That’s why consistency matters more than intensity. Pair it with a hydrating rice toner, give it the full cycle, and let your skin do what it’s built to do. 💫
