I rarely know what to write as a caption for my photos. Not because I don’t have anything to say. But what I have to say is often a reiteration of something I have already said before and so, out of fear of sounding like a broken record, I often don’t say much at all.

This morning I had a little talk with myself and thought, you know what? I don’t mind sounding like an broken record anymore. I’d rather embrace every opportunity to say how flipping thankful I am to witness so many beautiful moments between humans!

Photography has taught me to see the world more attentively and intentionally. I often catch myself taking mental pictures of moments — small, quiet, ordinary things.

Somehow, everything starts to feel like a love affair when you move through the world like this. From the way I pour my coffee in the morning to how sunlight paints shadows on my floor — it all feels touched by love.

So, capturing moments of love between people — romantic or platonic — feels like the most sincere job in the world. A quiet celebration of what is. I am always honoured and happy to capture all the moments that this life has to offer!

It’s been quiet here for a while — I’ve been doing some growing, a whole lot of feeling, and some dreaming… and through it all I’ve felt a pull back to the heart of where my creative journey started - photography! And, I’m ready (now, I think, more than I’ve ever been) to tell your stories.

Hello! I’m Suzanne: photographer, custom gift creator, embroidery artist — and a lifelong collector of tiny (and huge), extraordinary moments.

Of everything I create, photography is my first love.

Photography, for me, isn’t just about capturing how things look. It’s about remembering how they felt — the way your eyes soften when you laugh, the way your hands find each other without thinking, the way you are, in a fleeting second you didn’t even notice.

It’s a love letter to the everyday magic of being human.

I’m endlessly fascinated by the ways people love, dream, grieve, and hope. And, photography gives me the privilege of stepping into those stories — not just to witness them, but to honour them. To honour you.

And tháts why I simply love it - I’m interested in the soul of things. Interested in the way things feels and one day felt - to be here, to be alive, to be loved.

One thing I’ve noticed is that couples are always so grateful for their wedding guests, but they often worry about how short the day is and how busy they’ll be. They want to spend meaningful time with everyone but wonder how they’ll manage it. I always remind them that simply attending the wedding is already sharing time with the couple. Every detail, from the table settings to the flowers, reflects who they are. When guests look around, they’ll see the couple in every part of the day and think, “This is so them. I’m just happy to be here and share this moment with them.”
