Satara night. has these amazing 12 volt lights that you can select to be red or white and with 3 different brightness settings. The red has not attracted a single bug. Got 6 of these lights mounted in the canopy.

(Could look a bit sketchy to those of us who were partying in
Hillbrow in the 60s, 70s or 80s. Lol, Great Times. )

Some small changes, then ready for Zimbabwe and Botswana.

South of Mata Mata in sunrise glow. These magnificent animals still look out of place to me in this arid region. Thanks to Kobus Saayman and Johnny Foonk for waking up before me and leaving camp on time creating some beautiful dust.

December '19 in Auob Riverbed, he focuses on a nearby lioness. Fortunate to get his eye in a patch of setting sun.

Came out of a river front chalet at Mata Mata recently to see this little one eating some orange berries or seeds. The ground slopes up to the filling station and shop so an eye level shot was possible.
