Busy, blessed, and dreaming about archery deer season! π¦πΉ BtF always manages to take a backseat while I chase everything else- thankful for the continued messages from friends Iβve made here in spite of my inactivity.
Β» Weβve started clearing trails at our tree stands for archery season! We found the cross near my stand where I killed Tips and chased 7/11π₯Ήππ» a treasured find and reminder for the deer woods
Β» Two more stories have been sent to for publication going into this summer - fall. βSaltβ and βBy the Bloodβ will be on shelves soon and I canβt wait to hear your thoughts!
Β» My work with continues to fill my cup and my desk space, and Iβve so enjoyed learning and growing in this position over the course of the last (almost!) two years.
Β» Amidst it all, Iβve decided to dive into a new βbusinessβ endeavor under Beyond the Fieldβs umbrella: .studioco ππ¦π Iβve been a passionate creative my whole life, and writing has taken me places Iβve never imagined in the βworkβ fieldβ¦and with that Iβm going to be launching Safari Studio later this year as creative services/opportunities to work together under Beyond the Field. This is a work in progress and Iβm excited to see where it goes!
Β» Tiny treasures never cease to find their way into my pockets, feathers, nests, rocks, etc. Havenβt had much luck in the trout or shed departments only for my lack of expeditions- time has been put into other areas. Grateful the river and its inhabitants are going to flow whether Iβm there to take advantage of the current or not, and I know theyβll welcome me back with open arms when I do make it back. (The ticks havenβt done me any favors, either LOL)
