MK Hardy Landscape Photography Taking photos of London (where I live) and Cornwall (where I grew up) I am a photographer that lives in London and grew up in Cornwall.

I specialize in capturing the beautiful coastline of Cornwall and the bustling streets of London. I have always had a keen interest in photography and started taking photography more seriously in 2009 with the purchase of my first digital SLR. Street photography in London is taken hand-held, using no filters, and presented in black and white. Landscape photographs in Cornwall are usually taken using long exposures ranging from 20 seconds to 2 minutes, and are presented in colour.

Marble Hill House is a Neo-Palladian villa, now Grade I listed, in Twickenham in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. It was built between 1724 and 1729 as the home of Henrietta Howard, Countess of Suffolk, who lived there until her death. The compact design soon became famous and furnished a standard model for the Georgian English villa and for plantation houses in the American colonies.

Brentford Dock in Brentford, west London, was a major trans-shipment point between the Great Western Railway (GWR) and barges on the River Thames. The building of Brentford Dock was started in 1855 and it was formally opened in 1859. The former dock yard was redeveloped in 1972 and is now Brentford Dock Marina and Brentford Dock Estate.
