Shot for Zouk’s Proudly Indian campaign, this visual direction was never about making the frame look traditionally Indian in the most obvious way.
It was about building a world where the product felt like it carried memory.
The rust-toned wall brought warmth and earthiness. The black styling created drama and restraint. The gold details added a quiet festive richness without making the frame feel loud. And the bags became the point of contrast structured, modern, functional, but still rooted in craft and culture.
As a photographer, the intent was to make the product feel less like an accessory and more like an heirloom in motion.
Proudly Indian, but not performative.
Rooted, but not dated.
Made for today, carrying what came before.
