***** ALERT*****

There's a massive aurora storm happening right now for anyone who likes to look out for the Northern Lights. And there are clear skies. (before the fireworks scupper that)

They could potentially be visible via the naked eye here in the NE.
For best chance, head to somewhere where you can look due North. Preferably somewhere without light pollution. And wait and hope. The darker the better but still, you never know.

If you want to take a photo my best advice is to try for a 15 second exposure. Camera or phone on a tripod or stood securely on something. Either in night mode or whack your ISO up to about 3200 and your aperture as low as you can get it. Focus to infinity. But just play about.
