Most of the time the cattle won, but on the odd occasion they were roped or caught at the Waikouaiti Rodeo yesterday. few hats went flying, and i bet there will be many bodies sore and bruised today. More images when we get home.

They say that ... Sitting on the back of the bull and making a horrible face for the next 8 seconds; is what rodeo riding is all about....

Great day at the Waikouaiti Rodeo today. The thrills and spills of the athletes and animals was on show from early on, right until the last bull was ridden. Here is a very small selection of images taken. No editing. The rest will be sorted when I get home.

They say the only thing crazier than a barrel racer is her horse.

The skill of the horse and rider is amazing. The angle at which they round those barrel is insane. A few from the Waikouaiti Rodeo today.
