As I revisit this Modigliani project, it's interesting for me to see how my methods have evolved since I've started on it. In 2013, I still wanted the photos to look semi-realistic. I manipulated the proportions of the body, did some retouching and that was that. In 2015, I started introducing more paint elements, bridging the gap between photography and paintings. This week, I decided to go for a completely painted look, where it no longer looks like a photo at all. Overall, I like where this is going.
