He was a brilliant and gentle man, wise beyond the short years that was blessed with his presence. Most of these photos were taken in Ban Vinai. Here's an article on an interview with Ellen Kuras, the lady in the picture with my dad on the first black and white shot. Makes me wonder if the guy from the second shot was one of her crew members. Read on. Half way down, she talks about a story of a Hmong family, dead and floating down the river on a made-shift craft. Sad sad sad. Go check out this documentary - The Betrayal.

Phew! Finished uploading the last batch of black and white photos for now. I have more colored ones to come and then I have loads of negatives that I have to find out how to develop. Suggestions of places are welcome!
