Inihahandog ng De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde at

✏️ DRAWING THE FUTURE

Creative Careers in Illustration & Animation

What does a creative career actually look like after the classroom?

There isn’t just one way to build a life around drawing—and for our next PRAXIS session, we’re bringing together five creatives from illustration and animation to talk about the many ways a creative practice can grow into a career.

Join Yan Gallegos, Carlo Vergara, Meneer Marcelo, Mark Canega, and Kenny Tai as they share their experiences, creative journeys, industry realities, and the different paths they’ve taken as working artists and creatives.

No formulas. No single roadmap. Just an honest conversation about making art, finding your place in the industry, and continuing to draw your own path forward.

📅 October 2, 2026 | Friday
⏰ 11:15 AM – 2:30 PM
📍 12F Cinema, Design + Arts Campus

🎟️ RSVP through the QR code.
Walk-ins are also welcome!

✨ This PRAXIS session is made possible with the support of our creative partner, Studio Baddie. Thank you for supporting spaces where young creatives can learn, connect, and continue building their practice.

Whether you're an illustrator, animator, designer, storyteller—or simply wondering where your creative work might take you next—come join the conversation.

Your future doesn't come pre-drawn. ✏️

As we prepare to begin classes on 26 AUGUST 2026, the Benilde Student Government (BeSG) remains mindful of the challenges brought about by the previous term extension following class suspensions due to inclement weather.

While further adjustments to the Academic Calendar may no longer be possible without affecting the December break, the Benilde Student Government is still committed to identifying the best interests of the student body.

With this, we kindly ask you to share your thoughts, experiences, and recommendations through the Constituency Form, which will only take 2 to 3 minutes to complete. Should you have any questions or need further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out to us through our official communication channels.

We know that the transition into the new term may not be easy, but please remember that you are not alone in navigating it. Let us continue to look out for one another and support our fellow Benildeans along the way. Animo Benilde!

Happy weekend, Benilde!

Happy weekend, Benilde!

Here is the Official Poster for National Heritage Month 2026 bearing the theme “Roots and Horizons: Our Shared Heritage, Our Collective Future”

At the heart of this year’s visual is the banig—a symbol of connection, continuity, and community. Just as each strand is carefully woven, our heritage is shaped by the many stories, traditions, and identities that bind us as Filipinos across generations.

Surrounding it are diverse communities, reminding us that heritage belongs to all of us—lived, practiced, and passed on in everyday life. The rising sun speaks of hope, while the vibrant colors reflect the richness and dynamism of our cultural expressions.

As we celebrate National Heritage Month this May, we are invited not only to look back with pride, but to take part in carrying our heritage forward. It is not confined to the past—it is a living legacy, sustained by collective care and shared responsibility.

Together, let us honor our roots and shape our collective future.
